This rosé is fresh, with an accentuated mineral character, high acidity and great precision. Its finish is very long, noble and balanced. The grapes from Bairrada result in a unique blend that develops beautifully in the bottle. Bairrada Baga has a perfect balance between sugar and acidity, giving it an extraordinary structure.

Alexandre de Almeida, founder of Portugal's oldest hotel chain with the same name, began producing Buçaco wines in 1917, when, after many visits to European hotels, including some at Côte d'Azur French, he realized what meant Winery Hotel concept. He then created his own cellar in the Palace of Buçaco, producing wines that would be known as the glorious "wines of the Buçaco". In the early twentieth century, wine that would become an icon was born, although intentionally kept out of the spotlight. His creator, Alexandre de Almeida, adopted the concept of luxury hotels with his own wine. Looking back, from the first crops, the buçaco wines were served to kings, queens and heads of state, as proved the letter, proudly kept in the Palace Hotel buçaco. These wines were objects of worship, limited to very restricted circles. Its fantastic and noble labels still carry the symbol of their nobility.
