Deep violet color already marking its intensity. Clean, highly perfumed and immediately pleasurable nose. Herbaceous notes of fresh herbs such as mint, eucalyptus and camphor appear in the foreground giving freshness, followed by aromas of warm spices, chocolate and smoke. Fruity aromas of ripe cherries and wild fruits complete the complex and inviting bouquet. In the mouth it is surprisingly balanced despite its warm matrix, typical of a top-of-the-range wine from deep Alentejo. Evident concentration, with a present but well polished tannin and an acidity, typical of the Sousão variety, to be noticed at the end of the tasting. The spice aromas become even more evident on the palate. Clearly benefits from airing. Wine ready to be tasted and which will benefit from 3 to 5 years of aging.
